At a glance the Huawei S7 is virtually identical to the other tablets on the market right now, though latched on its back is a Roller Stay pole (standing frame) which gives it a slightly unique look compared its peers. In comparison to the iPad, the Huawei S7 has a somewhat smaller posture, with a rather horizontal look. Much of the real estate on the front is covered by a touch screen, furnished with just three buttons at the bottom. The trackpad makes menu navigation a breeze, allowing for more precise movements when coupled with the touch screen. As mentioned earlier, the standing frame allows users to place the device in a landscape position on surfaces like a table, which, for the lack of better words, makes it stand out above the rest.
In addition, we found that typing on the Optimus 7 is a pleasant experience as we accurately register the right key that we have touched. The word dictionary is not intrusive and only corrects simple grammatical or spelling errors. Each stroke on the keyboard provides different variation of sounds instead of the typical mono-tone sound, which giving a better tactile experience.
